The Bordol (Bor Dol, “great temple”) is a Shiva temple at Biswanath Ghat. It was rebuilt after the original was damaged by earthquake and floods.
The Bordol (“Bordole temple”) is a monument of national importance protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. Some press reports credit the original temple to the Ahom king Rajeswar Singha (1751–1769) and compare its style to the Shiva Dol at Sivasagar.
